THE YONS
The Yons’ musical journey has followed its own singular arc, the band stubbornly resisting the siren call of cheap fame and short-term gain in favour of uncompromising independence and unfettered freedom to create. After an on-off, in-out career spanning nearly four decades they suddenly find themselves in something of a limelight moment. 2025 album release Watch & Clock impressed with its forceful mix of Television, Steely Dan and Grateful Dead-esque alt country ballads and rock bangers, while the prospect of their forthcoming 40th anniversary has got the Nottingham five-piece back in the studio, laying down new material and delving into the archive to reprise long-forgotten gems. Surf the latest wave of the Erewash Sound while the river is in full flood.

CLEARANCE SALE
Born out of a living room in the centre of Hull by a group of friends who thought it sounded like a good idea, Clearance Sale burst onto the Hull music scene performing at the likes of The New Adelphi Club, Tribfest and even getting an encore at The Polar Bear. Clearance Sale draws together unapologetically fun indie songwriting with guitars that twinkle and vocals that captivate. With a first single under their belt, Nothing’s Ever Good Enough for Ell, Clearance Sale are ready to take on the world!

ENTROPY
Hailing from Kent, loud indie rock four-piece Entropy blend catchy 2000s-style riffs with the raw energy of 90s punk. ASBO Magazine praised latest single Boys Like to Race for its “Arena level chorus… a must-listen track for anyone tracking the pulse of modern UK guitar music.” Suggestive of The Hives, The Cure, Sam Fender, Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C, the band have featured on BBC Introducing ’s Best of Kent and played support slots for STONE, Dead Pony, FEET and Trampolene. With a debut EP Drunk Nights and Warning Lights on release, Entropy are now bringing their tight melodies and high-energy stage presence to venues and festivals across the country. Catch them at the Mist before they get too hot to handle.

THE DAMP MAGIC
Pembrokeshire’s finest, via Lenton and Rough Trade, Mat Thomas is the sonic screwdriver of the Nottingham music scene. Variously producer, sound engineer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist as well as bass adder for the glorious White Skull Death Snakes of Death, Mat’s solo project The Damp Magic showcases his own eclectic poetic and musical vison. Will leave you charmed (and possibly a bit moist).
